Il Salotto is The most beautiful and welcoming boutique hotel we had the joy of visiting.
In a magical almost fairy tale nature setting and surroundings, Erne and Richard host with elegance and warmth that make the whole experience heartwarming . They designed and built their dream hotel with their own hands, they put so much care and thought into every detail.
Erne and Richard cook and garden ,bake and care for all your needs.
The ultimate hideaway at a perfect location - “The Saloon“ is set opposite the Lavina village, enjoying its views. The river that runs beneath with its swimming ponds

Il Salotto is a true hidden gem, a gem which I am reluctant to share but this place is too great to not share! Erna and Dick are the most considerate hosts one could think of. They have renovated the whole house with such care for the history and sense of place. Thank you for making me and my friends feel so special while we celebrated my birthday. A memory for life.

A beautiful, secluded paradise. That would be the nutshell to describe this magical place (or should I say palace?). Erna and Richard restored and transformed an old olive mill into a private, family friendly boutique hotel. At the end of a winding mountain road in Northern Italy you’ll find this hidden gem situated on the bedding of a small mountain stream in the small medieval village Lavina. Beautiful interior and delicious food! Great service too, the owners are really friendly and very attentive to the guests. Definitely can recommend staying here!
