My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & Spa in Menaggio, Italy. Right from the start, the service was fantastic. Everyone, from Veronica at the concierge desk to Salvatore and Leo in the restaurant, made us feel so welcomed and well cared for. Lorena was especially helpful and always ready to assist with anything we needed.

The food here was absolutely delicious. We loved our dinners—every dish was a hit, and the breakfast buffet was probably the best we've ever had. It had everything you could want and more, all fresh and tasty.

Our room was just as impressive, with stunning views of Lake Como. The automated drapes and lights were a nice touch, making everything feel modern and convenient. The bathroom was decked out in full Italian marble, which added to the whole luxurious feel of the place.

The spa was a highlight of our visit. The Finnish sauna, cold room, and Himalayan salt room were perfect for relaxation. The spa service was attentive and professional, making our spa days feel extra special.

We can't recommend this place enough. It was a truly memorable experience thanks to the wonderful setting, great food, and the attentive staff. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

First time visiting Como area and this was a perfect hotel to experience the area. Incredibly friendly staff and great design. The food was also incredibly enjoyable and our breakfast time there was one of the highlights of our weeklong trip through Switzerland and Italy. But the spa was the crown jewel of our experience. I’m not really a spa guy and, despite my wife loving them, can’t find myself staying at one for longer than an hour. But the design of this spa was so impressive and inviting that I wanted to spend multiple hours every morning between the Himalayan salt room and the moss lined walls. Overwhelmingly peaceful and intoxicatingly tranquil. Cannot recommend enough. Must visit.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe by a long way.

Although can’t say it is a “cheap” option at c. 700-800 a night in off peak, compared to the other 5 star options in the region (grand hotel tremezzo, mandarin oriental) this was significantly cheaper (about 30pct cheaper at the time ) and after having visited GHT, this was a lot more updated and felt much more “high end”.

A 80/20 blend of ultra modern elegance and Italian villa charm. The photos on Google reviews do not do this hotel enough justice as in real life the place is gorgeous. (My advice to the owners is to get rid of the electronically generated photos and put up some real photos instead).

The rooms were equally impressive highlight being the bathrooms; decked in white marble from floor to ceiling beautiful, practical and spacious.

Not just a pretty facade however, the service was fantastic and really blew us away. Right from check in staff were attentive to our needs and very detailed and helpful (for example when I was coming back from a walk the doorman reminded me that we had a massage appointment that we were late for).

Breakfast spread was very complete, fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, Italian hams and cheeses as well as a warm selection including the option to order omelettes. All topped with a Prosecco and juice bar! Only slight criticism here being that the coffee / hot drinks service was a bit on the slow side.

Facilities are top notch, especially the spa which is a must visit, the place is huge with multiple shower / bath options for all ranges of heat and cold preference. The gym is enough for the majority of users, new equipment with cardio options and a few weight machines and dumbbells up to 22.5kg. However, my own preference would be that they had some sort of free cable machine and dumbbells up to at least 30kg as this would make it a much more viable option for a longer stay for fitness enthusiasts.

Just left and already wondering when I can go back. For me with slight improvements to the gym and coffee service this would be a perfect residence but even as it is, it is somewhere I would come back to again and again.

My family sat down in the restaurant for lunch at 2:20 p.m and we were served our main course at 3:50 pm. The Bruschetta appetizer was on a piece of toast that you can purchase at the grocery store. The Mediterranean spaghetti with mussels came out raw, the spaghetti was not cooked and was chewing, I understand Italians have a way to cooking pasta but this was unacceptable. We customized a pizza with sun dried tomatoes and caramelized onions and it came out with only small fresh tomatoes and no onions. Don’t waste your time eating here, just book a room and eat along the strip.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Every morning we looked forward to their fantastic breakfast. The hotel spa was out of this world. The service was 5 star. Mattia and Giulia at the front desk were so helpful with any questions we had. Don’t hesitate staying here. It is so worth it. We hope to return someday.

This is not a mere hotel, this is a luxurious immersion of service, class, and appeals to the senses. ||This was stop number 4 of our honeymoon and my wife and I loved every minute of it. Even the fire drill that they had for the staff on our second to last day. From the moment we were checked in by Martina to the moment we checked out and I requested a Small Luxury Hotels pin, the staff and property exceeded our expectations.||The hotel has a majestic essence and not only is the location prime, but so are the furnishings and grounds. The high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, excellent bar and the Victoria 'forget me not' diffuser scent (we bought it) that permeates throughout the halls and common areas make me smile as I write this. It's right across the street from the lake and there's a reason it's called Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & Spa. It's large, luxurious, and the spa is an oasis in the middle of the paradise that is called Menaggio. The property was clean and classy.||In our room we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco, a sweet treat, fruit, and a nice note signed by Marco the General Manager. I believe that our room was considered a Prestige room. It was very clean, comfortable, and had a nice view. The bathroom had nice marble flooring and 'R Collection' products. It was spacious. We loved the state-of-the-art functionality of the lights, thermostat, and curtains that only worked when our key card was inserted. Overall, we loved the room and that Chromecast worked on the TV set, so we were able to cast our photos of our trip on the screen. Next time I hope to book suite to experience a larger size and different view. ||We had breakfast and dinner at Lago. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the ambiance was chic. Simone and Salvatore were very attentive along with the whole staff ensuring we enjoyed the ambiance, our meals, and the service. It was amazing seeing how attentive the staff was and we loved the presentation and preparation of the food. The food comes at a premium but because of the dining experience and service we had dinner there on 2 nights.||This was such a wonderful and memorable experience that I look forward to returning here when it's a little warmer. We were there during the last week of the season and the staff left such an impression upon us that we want an excuse to see those that made our stay so special. I also want to fly out just use the gym. That's my excuse to use the gym, get in the pool, and stay in a suite. ||We bought the Victoria Forget Me Not scent and it will definitely remind us that we should return in the future. Thanks to Marco and team for making our stay magical.

We stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary.||We loved everything about this hotel. ||It is in an ideal location, short walk to ferry and restaurants / shops of Mennagio, with great views of Lake Como.||The hotel is elegantly designed throughout with modern luxurious amenities. There were lots of internal and external areas for you to relax & enjoy surroundings, especially views of the lake. ||Our room & bathroom were new and modern, bed was very comfortable, and we espcially like the control panel that controls the blinds and the lights :).||What really stood out from all the 5 star hotels we have stayed were service through out , the housekeeping and breakfast.||Every staff looked after us and above and beyond our expectations. From reception to breakfast, valet parking, spa, the attention to detail services we received was outstanding throughout.||The housekeeping & turn down service were consistent and well serviced every day. Although this should the norm, we have stayed in many many other 5 star hotels where this wasn't the case. So I want to recognise the housekeeping team for their exceptional service.||Last but not least, it was a real pleasure to dine at the hotel for breakfast. Great options for breakfast, delicious and beautifully presented with attentive service. ||Every night when we return to the hotel from sightseeing, we were thankful we were staying at this hotel instead of any other hotels in Lake Como area.||||
