Panorama e terrazzo stupendi. Purtroppo si deve parcheggiare in strada in modo alquanto approssimativo e scendere con una bella pendenza a piedi sino all'appartamento. Bagno senza finestra, elevato tasso di umidità nelle stanze fino da avere lenzuola, cuscini e anche i nostri vestiti con quell'effetto di non asciutto che ha molto disturbato. Dei due condizionatori ne funzionava solo uno. Aspettative deluse.

We booked to stay in this place via booking.
Then our dates changed, so I cancelled the booking on the website and I received an offer from him to book privately with him to save the booking fee.

I was really looking forward to it. It looked so idyllic and beautiful.
When we arrived, the first impression was as nice as I thought. We had a nice welcome. The garden, terrace, pool and view was as nice as promised.
The flat looked nice on the first look too, even though i already smelled the dampness.
When i spend only a bit more time inside, I realised it was the smell of mould. Every drawer and cupboard you opened, smelled so mouldy.
The lampshade, chairs etc were mouldy.
We do suffer from allergies. My son has asthma.
When i contacted him, he just told me to let air in, turn the ac on, turn on the dyson air refreshener.
But of course all that doesn't do anything on already existing mould that is everywhere.
I really wanted and needed to get out and asked for my money back and another solution. The other 2 flats were rented out, so he offered me to pay back only half of what I paid for 6 nights, after staying 2 nights. We had all the stress and effort to find a new place. That's not how I expected my holiday to be.
So much extra stress and costs.

Reading some old reviews shows that it is an old existing problem. Seems like it's only 1 of the 3 apartments (apartment no 3) that is so bad because (as he always responds to the other complaints), the other people staying in an equivalent apartment at the same time don't complain. We were definitely not the first ones who left earlier and lost money because of that issue.

It seemed like he doesn't want to see the issue. We think this apartment should not be rented out. That is why I am writing this detailed report.
I do feel sorry for him, as i can imagine the pain if a flat suffers from damp walls and then soon from mould. I don't know if there is much you can do about it. But it is not acceptable and irresponsible to rent it out, as it is bad for the health.
Fair enough, he is painting the walls and changing the mattress so at least these didn't have mould (though the whole bed felt damp while lying in it at night) but it's in so many other things. Unfortunately you don't see the smell on the pictures but some of the mould is visible.

5 stars though for the really nice terrace, pool and view...

Die Gastgeber sind besonders freundlich und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.
Es ist sauber und die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und stilvoll.
Aber die Terrasse und der Garten suchen ihresgleichen. An der Straße, In der Nähe des Zugangs zum Grundstück, gibt es ein Mäuerchen an dem sich immerwieder Menschen einfinden und die Aussicht zu genießen und zu fotografieren. Vom Frühstückstisch auf der Terrasse hat man dieses Erlebnis rund um die Uhr.

Very humid flat. Probably because it is in the cellar floor. Very nice views from the terrace. The flat is 150 m to walk down a rather steep path. The owner does not let you enter by car meanwhile other house mates park on the premises. You have to find a car park on the street which is real inconvenient. The flat looks nice but had several problems. Light was broken in the sleeping room, water drained badly in sink and shower, one door handle was loose. We told the owner about everything they just laughed the problems away. They also wanted a deposit of 100 € in cash. There was only one remote for 2 aircons in 2 rooms which was more than inconvenient during the night. And there were only plastic wine glasses which is disgusting.

Absolutely recommend. Amazing view to the Naples bay and Vezuvius.
Modern, clean, comfy. Very friendly host.
