Very disappointing...I booked a 1 bedroom with 2 queens and sofa bed. The sofa sagged significantly in the middle. The mattress inside appeared original and you could feel every single wire when you laid on it. I requested a roll away bed from the front desk but was told none were available but they would have housekeeping to "double check" and still let me know later. Checking later, still nothing and the clerk said she would leave a note for the morning crew and check back tomorrow. When I did, I was told the hotel doesn't have any at all due to renovations (which I saw no sign of) and planned on buying all new ones. I explained that I needed something for the fifth person in our room to sleep on, did they have another room available or something? I was offered a mattress pad as the best they could do.||We stayed on the 4th floor which smelled of a wet garbage dump and felt like 80 degrees in the hallway. The rest of the hotel smelled strongly of Febreze. Our room would smell like oil/diesel and get very humid unless kept at 73 degrees. We were assigned an ADA room that was WELL USED. The stove fan and light did not work. The ice maker in the freezer did not work. The button on the microwave was half broken. The toilet paper holder was broken, hanging on the wall by one side. The small glass shelf next to the sink was half broken with the screws slipping out of the drywall and having to keep pushing it back in. The mini built in dresser adjacent to the bathroom, the drawers smelled so bad inside, we didn't keep our stuff in it. The ADA shower was a nightmare. I know it's designed to accommodate a wheelchair but the shower floor was not built to drain properly, so the water was running into the bathroom clear across to the other side and there was an additional central drain in the middle of the bathroom to drain the water. Anyone needing to walk into the bathroom after you shower is walking into a flood and could slip and fall. We ran out of towels because we put them on the floor to try to keep the water from going everywhere. ||This hotel has a large construction clientele with lots of parking spaces taken up by extra large utility trucks and their personal vehicles. I suspect this clientele leads to the condition of the rooms and unique smells in this hotel; think boy's locker room but oil and diesel from construction workers. ||POSITIVES: Curtains kept the light out good. The beds were comfortable. I never made it to breakfast so can't comment on that.

Great service, me and my family arrived late to our other hotel due to the weather and were told that our reservation had been cancelled, we searched around for a hotel that would take us in due to it being 4 am but kept getting turned down due to no availably or their system turning over to the next day, we arrived here and Cordell managed to provide us with a great room and great service! Excellent customer service.

We have stayed three times here. Excellent experience on all three. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The property is well maintained as well as the gym. Management and staff was always polite and professional. Totally recommend if traveling with family and visiting the Doral/MIA area

I can't say enough good things about this place! Upon check in we were told that housekeeping only comes when you call and ask- not a big deal. We get to our room it was very spacious, we did a bug check lifting mattresses, box spring covers looked behind night stands and such and no signs of anything. The bathroom was a nice size if I had to complain about something it would be there's only glass covering 1/2 of the shower and when my kids would bathe somehow they could get water everywhere! The kitchen was equipped with a few pans, cups,dishes- enough to cook a little something but I'm not sure it's equipped for a full meal - and I get that and hey I'm on vacation I'm not trying to cook!!! We enjoyed both pools we were in there every day, we brought our nieces and nephews over so they could hang with our kids it was more fun than paying to go to rapids or the zoo! There is also an outdoor grill that is available to cook on, which is great! For reference this hotel is roughly 25 minutes from Kendall and about 30 minutes from North Miami so if you are looking to get downtown Miami, it's going to be a little longer than 30.

Good hotel!
We spent some good nights there. Room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast was ok, but not memorable.

Dear Residence Inn Headquarters,
I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the behavior and actions of the General Manager at the Residence Inn located at [Address]. Her conduct has been consistently unprofessional, disrespectful, and detrimental to the overall morale and performance of the staff.
The General Manager Yenny Black has demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills. Her interactions with guests are often rude, dismissive, and insensitive. This behavior creates a negative and hostile environment for both guests and employees alike.
Furthermore, her treatment of staff is appalling. She has been known to belittle, humiliate, and publicly berate employees. This kind of behavior is not only demoralizing but also creates a toxic work environment that is detrimental to productivity and employee retention.
I believe that this General Manager's behavior is a serious violation of Residence Inn's standards of conduct and customer service. Her actions are damaging the reputation of the brand and creating a negative work environment.
I urge you to take immediate action to investigate this matter and address the concerns of the staff. I believe that removing this General Manager from her position is necessary to restore the integrity of the Residence Inn brand and create a positive and productive work environment for all.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter
