Staying at Villa la Massa was like a dream. Not only was the property absolutely stunning with beautiful scenic views of Tuscany, but the rooms were immaculate, and the staff was super friendly. Every attention to detail was thought of. My tastebuds also already miss the delicious food. Kudos to the chef! I specifically loved the kale and ricotta cheese tortelli I had at the pool restaurant, L’Oliveto Bistrot. And speaking of the pool, it looked like a scene out of a movie! We hope to visit Florence again in the future and there is nowhere else we would consider staying. Highly recommended.

Villa La Massa is a spectacular place to stay when visiting Florence and the surrounding area. The atmosphere and grounds are beautiful, quiet, serene, with views of the river from the breakfast area being everything we imagined a Tuscan scene would be. The food was tremendous - breakfast is not to be missed and this was the individual pots of coffee during our two-week tour through Italy. The spa is also not to be missed. Finally, the staff is wonderful - polite, accommodating and very friendly. The manager got us a reservation at her favorite Florentine restaurant and it was perfetto! Overall - highest rating we could give. When we return to Florence, we will certainly be staying here!

Our stay at Villa La Massa was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly helpful, especially when we needed to adjust our dates. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room with an amazing view of the river, which made our experience even more delightful.

The hotel itself is stunning, but what really made our stay memorable was the impeccable service we received. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch, complete with live piano music, which added an extra touch of elegance. The entire team was outstanding, particularly Tamara, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy throughout our visit.

What stood out the most was how much love and attention our 1-year-old daughter, Annabel, received from the staff. They were so playful and affectionate with her, making her feel right at home. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the amazing food and flawless service, Villa La Massa truly sets the standard for luxury and hospitality.

We can’t recommend this hotel enough and are already looking forward to our next stay. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, look no further than Villa La Massa!

We took a two-week trip to various places in Europe and our stay at Villa la Massa was the absolute highlight. It was mostly because of the 5-star staff. They were prepared for us, sensitive to any needs/questions we had and they always went the extra mile (complimentary dessert for our honeymoon, quick service and unbelievably friendly at every turn).

The two things that truly make this a 5-star experience - the food and the service. Our meal at the restaurant could not have been more perfect. The breakfast every day shames any hotel breakfast you will find. And again, the service was spectacular. We actually felt as if the staff was interested in the customers and they always paid attention to every detail.

It is also worth the time and money to take a pizza-making class with Lorenzo. It was one of the best things we did on our entire two-weeks trip. He is so skilled, funny and a wonderful teacher. We enjoyed our time with him so much that we are still talking about it over a week later.

Finally the hotel offering a shuttle into the city of Florence is a wonderful perk. We never had to navigate a taxi or Google Map, which we had done a lot on this trip. Any hotel can help you arrange a taxi but having this service is really next-level.

We can't wait to go back!

Con amici siamo andati a mangiare a Villa La Massa. Abbiamo visitato il bel parco ed ammirato bellissima panorama della terrazza sull" Arno.
Sottolineo la gentile accoglienza e la capacità di creare un"atmosfera rilassante da parte dello staff molto gentile e attento.
La cucina è eccellente e tutti piatti di gusto delicato, con perfetto equilibrio degli ingredienti e raffinatezza. Complimenti agli chef.
Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto. La Villa La Massa è un luogo che unisce cibo delizioso, atmosfera accogliente e un bel paesaggio.

Villa La Massa was just wonderful. Service and the entire staff were outstanding. The grounds and pool are beautifully kept. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. We were usually greeted by name which made us feel right at home. We had dinner 1 night and breakfast daily and food was very good. We enjoyed staying away from the city center. The hotel shuttle to the city center is very convenient. We have no negative comments. It was my favorite hotel of the trip and has become my favorite hotel in Europe.

We stayed here for five nights with our four adult children. Wow. I rarely give 5 stars on Trip Advisor, but this place is a gem—truly fantastic.|The property is gorgeous, well-maintained, and clean.|We had a few suites, and they were spacious, well-appointed, and updated. |The staff is exceptional - they helped us with lost luggage, activities and even helping our adult children go clubbing in Florence. |The property is a bit outside of Florence (15/20 min drive or so) but they have a Mercedes shuttle that will take you to and from Florence. We really enjoyed sightseeing during the morning and coming back to the pool in the afternoon.|The service, drinks, and food by the pool were exceptional. In the evenings, they have a great little bar and outdoor area for drinks that is perfectly staffed.|The breakfast was the best we had on our two-week trip, and the river views while you eat are a wonderful way to start your day.|We will come back. This place is FANTASTIC - I highly recommend it.

Abbiamo trascorso una serata a Villa La Massa per aperitivo e cena. Tutto assolutamente perfetto ed accurato. La posizione è strategica, a due passi da Firenze ma immersa nel verde. La qualità delle materie prime si percepisce fin dall’aperitivo. La cena, dagli antipasti ai dolci, è stata un susseguirsi di emozionanti sorprese, che denotano la passione e il talento della brigata di cucina. La cura dei dettagli è un valore aggiunto non da poco, che non passa inosservato . Il personale del bar e di sala è attento, professionale e preparato.
