Don’t want to leave! One of the loveliest B&Bs that I have ever stayed in. Mary is very helpful and her staff are fantastic. Stunning views of Lake Como. The breakfast is great. Very good location for walking into town and exploring the wider area.

This is the first time in my life when I don't have any single negative point in my review. Absolutely perfect - location, room, service, breakfast, people - everything is maintained at a very high level! I hope I will be able to come back one day ?

With a gorgeous setting and panoramic views of Lake Como, from a beautiful boutique hotel property - Agriturismo Il Colle is the perfect setting in Bellagio. It's private and quiet, with only a short walk to busy Bellagio. The rooms are lovely, spacious and immaculate, the buffet breakfast is delicious (with house-made tarts and pies) and there's even a wine vending machine for after-hours apertifs. But the highlight is the personal hospitality, from Ms Mary and Luigi, which make the property even more special. I look forward to a return visit! Grazie mille!

We try to stay at Agriturismos as much as we can when in Italy so when we found one in Bellagio we had to book it. So very glad we did as it turned out to be the best part of the Lake Como area for us...besides the wedding we were there to attend. Mary made us feel so welcome...she sent us check in instructions when we weren't sure what time we'd be arriving. We ended up arriving before she left and what a pleasure it was to meet her. Next morning and every morning of our 3 day stay, we met the amazing Luigi at breakfast! His breakfast spread is to die for! I especially loved talking to him about the locally grown/sourced items served at breakfast and even managed to get a few recipe tips. As mentioned by others, get his scrambled eggs-fluffiest, most delicious eggs I've ever had...and I had them all 3 days! ||We stayed in the Violet basement apartment and although it didn't have a view, it was beautifully furnished and everything we needed was available. If we return to Bellagio, we'll definitely get a room with the lake view. We also had opportunity to relax on the grounds each day (the berries on the vines are delicious!) and the wine dispenser machine (wine card runs a tab that you pay at checkout!) was wonderful when family came over to see us at Il Colle. Gorgeous views, awesome staff, delicious breakfasts, away from the Bellagio hustle and bustle but an easy walk into town...what more could one ask for? It was perfect!!!

This was the highlight of our trip to Italy!! Mary was very accommodating and made our trip to Lake Como extra special!! My husband and I stayed in the Violet room and our friends stayed in the Orchid room which had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the lake!! Our rooms were very large with nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds!! The location was perfect and provided parking for our rental van. The walk into Bellagio was only about 10-15 minutes. The daily breakfast was amazing with the best coffee, pastries and eggs. Of all the places we visited in Italy, this was the highlight of our trip!! Thank you Mary for making our visit extra special!!

Staying at Il Colle was one of the highlights of our 3 nights and 4 days in Bellagio and the final nights of our multi week Italy tour. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any friend or family member who enjoys a boutique experience. ||Away from the hustle of town Il Colle is positioned high on the hill over Villa Melzi and a 10-15 downhill walk to the Villa gardens and then town. Plenty of parking so you can leave your rental in the safety of the compound. ||The rooms are extremely spacious and practically new with well selected tile and fixtures. The entire property has views of the lake, making breakfasts and sundowners quite special. ||I especially appreciated a few of the touches we did not experience at 4-star resorts all over Italy - multiple pillows, beds fitted with both top and bottom sheets and a large blanket, high quality towels, and fresh towels as needed. ||Mary runs the desk and Luigi runs the kitchen and Agriturismo side of things and together they are a fonte of information and recommendations. ||A really perfect place for a wedding or vow renewal - I would bring a group to this property for an intimate / personalized experience on Lake Como. Lots of outdoor spaces for entertaining and several indoor spaces that could accommodate a moderately sized group. And the views!! ||Six stars if I could give that many. The photos do the property little justice. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to have such an experience as our last for this trip.

Wow! What a brilliant stay. Mary and Luigi were amazing hosts from start to finish. The rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and well furnished. The location is great, with excellent views over the lake and only 10 minutes walk into Bellagio. The best part for us was breakfast - all the produce is sourced locally and much from the residence itself. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Can’t recommend enough!
