I was booked into Gallia for a business trip. From the moment I arrived I was taken care of. It was an exceptionally hot day for early April when I checked in. They noticed straight away I was flustered with the heat and offered me water. I was also upgraded to a premium suite which was huge. Waiting for me was a bottle of Prosecco (much appreciated even though I do not drink) and some lovely sweets. I’ve stayed around the area before and despite not being a guest the front door men are always friendly and greet you when walking past. ||The suite was huge with Aqua Di Parma amenities. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection. Freshly squeezed juices made to order and a local bread that were to die for. However, it was the personalised Eid greeting with the biggest dates that welcomed me on my last night that truly touched me. I’ve stayed in a few Excelsior’s but this particular one knows how to look after their guests and really make it special. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Centrale station but also some of the tour groups also pick you up around the corner. I highly recommend this hotel and if my company do not book this hotel for me next time I’m in Milan I’ll be very upset. The staff are beyond||exceptional.

We have stayed at many very nice hotels around the world, but this hotel was my favorite. The staff were all helpful, friendly, and attentive, and even handled my overtired 4 year old melting down in the lobby with amazing grace. Our suite was spacious, and absolutely gorgeous, and we were thoughtfully greeted with a note, several juices, and two plates of sweets. The pool was a perfect temperature (I think around 90 degrees), and we had it all to ourselves. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the hotel’s location was very convenient. I will absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Milan.

Splendid!!!!! I’m kinda wordless but just highly recommend this extraordinary hotel! It’s located at the center of Milan city center. 2 minutes walk to the central station. 15minites drive to the Milan cathedral and shopping district. Very good scenery at the restaurant patio on 7th floor. All the staff are too nice to believe. Greeting and smiling all the time, very attentive and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and macaroons every day! Issam and every staff from the reception is so helpful. Concierge and velvet parking are also fantastic! They helped me to mail the postcard, which surprised me. Although the hotel is pricy, I still strongly recommend and I personally ensure that I will be back in the near future. Love ya, excelsior hotel, and all people there!!!

This stately hotel is located directly on a corner opposite the Milan central train station. We exited the station after a train from Lake Como, walking easily to the hotel. There are some nice neighborhood restaurants nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the main central district, dropping off at the Opera house and pick up there for ride back. Be sure to get the shuttle schedule. We did experience a mix up on a return shuttle ride and they sent a car to return us to the hotel.The staff is very friendly. The concierge can easily assist, especially with restaurants. They got us a terrific table at a local restaurant on our last night in Milan. The interior is very modern. The room was a bit small yet comfortable with a nice view towards the train station. They have a nice rooftop terrace bar. Overall a very good hotel.

From the moment you walk into the hotel you know you are in a special place. The beauty of the hotel and hospitality of the staff are incredible. This hotel is located next to the central train station in Milan, which made it so easy for us to get around. They also provided a shuttle to the The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Dumo. The restaurant was amazing as well. The General Manager Gianrico Esposito was extremely friendly and made sure our stay was nothing but amazing. Rooms were impeccably clean and beautiful!

The Excelsior Hotel Gallia is a magnificent hotel, within easy walking distance to the central train station. The staff were kind and attentive and the rooms were very comfortably appointed and quiet. Perfect for getting a great night's sleep.

The hotel has a convenient shuttle service to and from the downtown area. The rooftop restaurant and bar is excellent! The drink selection is what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

The breakfast is not to be missed if you stay here! The breakfast options and taste were outstanding. Our server in the restaurant, Zheng, was very pleasant and made us feel right at home.

The rooms are subpar and tired and in need of an upgrade.
The carpet was very dirty, leather or pleather (?) worn off the bed and wood chipped up on counter ledges. The concierge set us up with a guided tour for the Cathedral and the guide was absolutely terrible! We felt like we had been taken at the end of the experience and couldn't wait to leave Milan. Should have purchased online for half the price. The location is good and my husband enjoyed the spa. Room service pizza was not good although the service person was great.

We are enjoying our stay at this hotel. The rooms, spa, sauna, steam room and gym areas are excellent. As a business traveller I was a bit disappointed with the speed of the Wifi (very slow). Also when I had to sign some important sensitive documents from back home I had to email them to the reception staff for them to be printed. I would have preferred to sit on an internet connected computer and print out the documents from my email accessed online. This facility was not available on that day. Maybe if a private office access and internet speed are improved it will help business travellers to enjoy staying at this beautiful hotel more.
